Ian Whittaker

Ian is a highly experienced electronics expert who has dedicated over 20 years of his life to the world of classic cars. Currently, he runs the Yorkshire branch of Wise Technology. However, his passion for cars started long before his career in electronics.
Prior to his current role, Ian served as a director at an electronics company, where he honed his skills in the field. Ian's background in electronics has been instrumental in his ability to solve complex problems related to classic car restoration and maintenance. His attention to detail and perfectionist attitude make him an invaluable member of the Wise Technology team.
In his free time, Ian indulges in his love for classic cars by owning an impressive collection. One standout from his collection is his treasured Porsche 944. Additionally, he possesses a range of turn-of-the-millennium Vauxhalls and an SLK with a smart top fitted, reflecting his passion for both classic and modern vehicles.
Lindsay Zobel
Co-Founder
Lindsay oversees the Newcastle branch of Wise Technology. With three decades of experience in the classic car scene, Lindsay has established an excellent reputation as an auto electrician. Known for his keen eye for detail and exacting standards, Lindsay is often described as a perfectionist. Alongside his distinguished professional career as a primary school teacher, Lindsay owns a Capri, an American day van, and an SLK with a smart top fitted, of course.
